Okeanis Eco Tankers is a leading international tanker company providing seaborne transportation of crude oil and refined products.
We own and operate a modern fleet of eighteen eco-design, scrubber-fitted tanker vessels - eight Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs) and ten Suezmax tankers - with a combined carrying capacity of approximately 4 million deadweight tonnes.
Our fleet is among the youngest in the industry and is built to the highest environmental and fuel-efficiency standards at leading shipyards in South Korea and Japan.
History
OET was incorporated in 2018 under the laws of the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The Company’s sponsor, the Alafouzos family, brings more than fifty years of experience in the international shipping industry.
The Sponsor currently holds approximately 46% of OET’s outstanding common shares, underscoring its long-term commitment to the Company and alignment with all shareholders.
